This is "teacher appreciation week" at our school. All week we have been the recipients of goodies and gifts and favors. Today our entire staff was "sent" to the church next door to be served a delicious meal while volunteer moms took over the classes. It was a great chance to be together uninterrupted for an hour. Thank you, all you wonderful moms!
We're off! Have fun, Moms!
In order to have flowers for our tables, two gutsy moms had driven through town looking for places that had lots of flowering bushes, etc. Then they knocked on the doors of 7 homes and explained what they needed flowers for, and at each place they were told to take as many as they wanted!! I just cracked up when I heard that!

I know, I know...I'm saying it yet again...I'm playing "catch up" with my blog reading. It happens more often than I ever thought possible. But I'm not complaining though. My life is full and happy, so sometimes I get behind.
Looks like you're as busy as ever.
Hugs!

Hilarious! Both the booster seats in the lobby and the story about how the moms managed to get "affordable" flowers for the centerpieces. Fun!
Guess what - It is nurses week too, so we have been spoiled too. We are getting fed lunch today. Happy nurses week!
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
The table flowers are gorgeous! I like those ladies' style! So fun!
How sweet of the parents to do that!!
LOL at the booster seats - it looks like the front of our church after the vans pick up the neighborhood kids :)
I know those moms didn't come to our place b/c I don't have anything blooming - LOL!!!
