Hard at work

Sunday was another wonderful day at Woodcrest Retreat with our church family. Really special for Destiny was that Frank and J'von showed up for lunch and the afternoon. I have the greatest little video of Destiny and J'von going down the water slide, but my phone just won't cooperate with posting it.

We took Destiny back home Sunday evening, Dick returned to State College Monday morning, but I am still here at our Lititz house. Lori is at a conference in Chicago this week and has Austin along. Her sister is with her to take care of him. (I could be in Chicago right now if her travel plans had not coincided with our church campout.). But it's all good. Lori and her sister have not had this much time together for years, and it's giving me time to get our house ready to list with a realtor.

The people who were interested have moved on to York County instead. So I guess we do have to go through the normal channels of selling a house. We were so spoiled by how easily we sold our farmhouse five years ago - over the lunch table at school to one of my co-workers!

Yesterday I scrubbed and waxed the vinyl floors in the kitchen, laundry, and both bathrooms. I also scrubbed the deck furniture and railing. White resin gets so dirty!! I threw my healthy eating habits right out with the dirty water in my cleaning bucket and treated myself to this:

Last evening my sister Doris and I went to my sister Mary Ellen's new house. It was so unusual, but nice, for the three of us to be together on a Monday evening.

Today I'll pull some weeds, scrub the porch, make some phone calls and decisions, and hopefully have this place officially for sale by tomorrow.

How nice for Destiny to be with Frank and J'von.
Oh, the work that goes with getting a house ready to sell. Bless you!
Oh, yes...I'll have one of those treats, too, if you don't mind!

I pray that your house sells quickly. It will be hard to keep everything in tip top shape for selling when you are not close by.

I just had one of those treats and I enjoyed it too! (Even though I did not work as hard as you did today.) LOL!

I am always jealous of your campouts. I am not a good camper, but I would like to camp out with a group. I think that would be fun.
