Weekend visitor/playmate

Last evening my friend Tuwana from Virginia arrived, much to Destiny's delight. It worked out great to have Tuwana here, because I had a hair appointment this morning, so Tuwana took Destiny to the park. They've been playing all kinds of things together - dolls' hair, V-Tech, Dance, Dance Revolution - all the things I never seem to have time to do with her. THANK YOU, Tuwana!!

This afternoon I mowed our yard, and it was HOT. I should have burned off some calories doing that, let me tell you! Then we went to the pool at the rec center, but I couldn't go in because I couldn't find my swim suit anywhere. I have a feeling it's in Florida somewhere. It spent a whole year down there once before and was found in Lisa's linen closet after I had already gotten a new one. But it's still my favorite, so please don't throw it out, Lisa or Jeremy, whoever finds it!

Destiny will spend the evening with her daddy and I'll probably try to go through a few more things in preparation for Monday. Dick is working today, but he'll be picking up a rental truck after work and driving home in the morning in time for church. It's really happening. I can't believe it.
