On Sunday morning we were greeted by light snow and freezing rain. Our church decided to cancel our morning service. So we had a very rare, unexpected Sunday morning at home. I used the time to begin my annual family photograph projects.
Destiny used some of the time to try out her flying saucer on our hill behind the house. It was pretty icy!
Dick was standing on the steps to the sun room, above the wash line, when he took this one.
Later in the afternoon Destiny and I made some chocolate chip cookies. Yumm.

I have to smile every time we compare our weather because we do not really live that far away from each other. On Sunday morning our development was covered with sleet, but when we got out onto the highway, it was wet and not at all slick. When we drove into the church parking lot, the sun was shining. I guess if you do not like the weather here in PA, just drive a few minutes south! =)
