When I told people that we were planning to deep fry our turkey, they all had stories and said they want to hear how it goes for us. Well, we have a story. Here's Ray setting up the fryer outside in the cold.

Here he's holding the trusty fire extingisher that we were warned to have nearby. Everything we read warned against overheating the oil and starting a fire. We were ready!
