Is it really just a week ago that I had the day off school and we took Miki and her kids to Sears Portraits and then to the Newark Airport? It seems like a whole month already. I MISS THEM.
I admit, I'm having trouble switching gears. I just feel in the mood for doing something more fun than going to school every day. Maybe it's having a hubby that seems to be on a long vacation. But we're hoping that will change soon. He got one bit of hopeful news from one place yesterday.

I am glad that Dick got some encouraging news. He has to get a job so he can fly you all over the country to meet your blogging friends so he better hurry up and get a job! Ha! Ha! I think I see another party coming on!
Hey, my friend! I was so glad to finally catch up on all that has been going on with the family since I have been flitting across the ocean! Loved the pics Dick took, and the story of the song was too cute! So good to hear that Dick got some promising news...hope it pans out for him. Yes, 5 miles on a bike is VERY good for them both. I can not believe that I have to hit the ground running next week! This week is our fall break, but then it's downhill till Christmas! I know you can relate!
I'm ready to do something more that go to work every day too...what do you want to do? I'm game! :-)
