Things are looking a lot better, thank goodness. Dick's stepmother took Destiny out for a few hours today to buy her a birthday gift and take her out for lunch. So while she was gone and Dick was here to answer some of my questions, I had the perfect situation for making order out of all those papers. We now have a COBRA file and an Unemployment file added to the filing cabinet. Hopefully we won't be needing either one of them for very long.
We had absolutely gorgeous weather today. Dick planted more tulip and daffodil bulbs. I wish we could go right from Fall to Spring and just skip Winter. I know, I know - my kids in Florida will say there IS a place where that actually happens!

Oh, but I love the white snow - it makes me slow down!!! And it is just so beautiful!
(Plus, it is the perfect time to eat more and hide it under baggy clothes - LOL!!!!!)

I like the new color.
I'm sorry to report, that after 10 years I have discovered winter here. When it reaches 60 we don hats, jeans, gloves, scarves, and shoes with closed toes. Then we compain about how cold it is. Winter lasts about 2 months, and then it's back to spring. There is no snow to see or drive in. But it's not like you all have a white winter wonderland all winter. And we don't have ice ever!
So like any good Floridian from the north, when I want to be surrounded by white, I go sit in sand at the beach.
I'm glad you are getting all that paperwork taken care of. Doesn't that make you feel good? I would like to skip winter too - maybe some snow on Christmas only!
We passed by a bin of tulip bulbs at Lowes. I was looking at them and thinking. Alan said, "Are you thinking of buying more squirrel food?"
We have such a time with the critters around here eating bulbs. Last year the voles cleaned out a bed that had over 60 bulbs in it. Of course they also ruined a couple hundred dollars worth of things in the shed.
Alan is declaring war on them this year so maybe I should go ahead and buy some bulbs, huh?
Your flowers looked so pretty last spring. Can't wait till spring!
