MCDS Benefit Auction
Above is a view of what our school looked like today - auction tents set up and smoke from the barbeque pits filling the air. Below are three of the four "head honchos" - John, Richard, and Jay. Brian wasn't around when I snapped this.
Our lobby has been filling up with many donated items over the past few weeks. Notice, in the picture below, the little boy that tagged along with his mommy this morning, still in his pajamas! I asked him if he was the guard!

I'll take 3 orders of BBQ chicken and a strawberry pie.
I remember every year hoping that it would be warm enough that I could get a tan. And then at the end of the day, buying whatever candy was left for half price.
Usually it was the o henry bars.
I didn't even like them, but they were 50% off.
So I had to buy them.
I LOVE silent auctions! Wish I were there!

Hi Jean - we're back form Virginia and I'm trying to catch up on my blog reading! What a great auction - it looks like you have a really good amount of donations!
I have had lots to catch up on with you this week, Jean! My mom has been in town for Doc's memorial service which was today. She's been staying with me, but she's at my sister's tonight, so I'm catching up on blogs. I hope the auction was a huge success..it's always fun to see what kind of things people donate. Hope you have a great Sunday! :-)
