I was wrong last night about those thunderstorms ushering in cooler temps. Not yet. We are having another gorgeous day. Right now my indoor/outdoor thermometer shows 80 degrees on both! But where are the leaves???? I keep looking and looking every day at those trees. Does this picture look like 80 degrees?? Surely three days in a row like we've had has to get something awake in those branches, wouldn't you think? I'll post a picture again as soon as I finally see some green out there!

Our trees look like that too, although you can see buds on a few if you are close enough. However our temps are in the 30's again this weekend!
Oh honey, I'm sure your sweet daughter keeps you filled in on our gorgeous weather here! At least your lawn looks green! Guess what? Today while walking in the park, I saw two magnolia blossoms.! The first of this spring. I LOVE magnolias!

I didn't realize that it was 80 degrees out. We worked in the yard for seven hours and it was beautiful weather.
The magnolias are in full bloom on our street. The weeping cherries are so pretty. The pear trees are not out yet. . . maybe in a few days. Spring come Softly. (Reminds me of a book title)
