Here's Destiny all ready for church this morning. This new dress has a beautiful strappy bodice, but we had a very cold Easter morning, so I got this sweater for her to wear with it till warmer weather arrives.
We had a glorious Easter service - great worship to our Risen Savior, an emotional, awe-inspiring mime to the song He's Alive, and a wonderful faith-lifting message by our pastor. Did I ever say how much I love our church family?
After church we went home to get our Easter dinner ready to serve. I was in for a wonderful surprise! Ray DID come home for Easter!! He drove up yesterday when Dick and Sam did, spent the night at Sam's, and surprised me today! Dick and Sam knew it all along!

Sounds like the perfect day! With perfect quests, and perfect fun!
So glad!
Wow...it seems f-o-r-e-v-e-r since I've been by for a visit. I've had fun "catching up" on all your posts I've missed while away on my trip. I've enjoyed them all. I loved seeing all the photos, especially those from Dick's trip.
Thanks so much for visiting me too while I was away. I barely had time to do a post on my blog, so I didn't get to visit anyone. I've got so much "catching up" to do, but I'll do my best.
Happy Easter!
Hugs!
Kat
Looks like you had a great day. I'm glad Ray was there to surprise you...how much fun was that?? :-) I love the picture of Destiny in her dress. She's really grown a lot since I've been reading your blog!
What a great surprise!
Destiny looks so pretty in that dress--and grown up!
Glad Frank's injuries weren't worse.
