I have been thinking lately that if we ever get one of those amazingly warm winter days, I am going to wash my classroom windows. I don't think that job is part of our janitor's job description. In fact, I don't think it is part of anybody's job description, except maybe volunteer patrons who clean the school each August. I just couldn't stand looking out my windows on sunny days anymore. So when I heard what the temp was to be today, I knew what I would do after school. When I left home this morning I was armed with a bucket, rags, white vinegar, Windex, and paper towels. After washing them this afternoon, I was so happy with the results that I couldn't bear to pull the screens down. When we walk in that room tomorrow morning for staff devotions I hope the sun is shining and it will look like there is no glass in those windows!!

yes what a difference. So energetic you are. I hope your students see the difference.
I've got some mighty dirty windows down here...if you're for hire!
Great job! It will make you feel better every time you look outside...except that you will realize that you are INSIDE, and all the fun is going on OUTSIDE...and you are stuck INSIDE with these half grown aliens...who are also wishing THEY were anywhere but INSIDE...they just want to get OUTSIDE of the classroom...actually you are ALL counting the minutes till you can get back OUTSIDE and do fun stuff untill you have to come back INSIDE again....
Maybe it would just be better if you pulled the blinds!!!!:)
I'll understand perfectly if you want to hit me...
That's okay, Tonja. You understand perfectly. Actually, those blinds are pulled down more often than they're up, because the swings and monkey bars are right outside my windows, and when I have the kids standing on the risers to sing while other kids are out there for recess, guess where their eyes and their minds go..... But most days my first class doesn't come until 10, so from 7:30 until 10 I'll enjoy my clean windows!
Yeah for you - I bet you felt really good after getting that done and it is so nice to look out clean windows!
Oh I wish you lived closer to me. I'd actually pay you to clean my windows!! What a difference. Let the sun shine in!!

I'll send you airfare to Atlanta!
I love having clean windows, but never get around to doing them.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE A CLEAN WINDOW MAKES! It changes the seasons outside! LOL!
Wow! They look great! I have several here you can do!
By the way, can't make the quick trip to Tampa that weekend. I am so sorry! Wish you had a layover somewhere near Atlanta! I could make that two hour drive, no problem!
Love ya!
By the way, Tonja's comment was hilarious!
