And last - our colored leaves. Because we had such a warm fall, we weren't sure if our leaves would be as brilliant as usual. But in the past week I have been noticing the most beautiful trees everywhere I go. Today as I approached the rec center I decided I was not going to wait for pictures anymore. So I pulled out my cell phone and took the ones below. Keep in mind that these are cell phone pictures, but nevertheless, aren't the leaves just gorgeous?
I'm home alone this evening and I need to GET TO WORK on music arrangements for my instrumentalists.
Oh, by the way, pray for my daughter Lisa. Today when she was putting Sophie to bed, Sophie jumped up and her head hit Lisa square on the nose. After profuse bleeding and a lot of pain George took her for xrays and it's broken! So next will be a visit to an ENT specialist to see how badly it's broken and if she'll need surgery. She said, "My nose always did point a little to the left, now it points even further to the left. If only she'd hit it from the other side, maybe it would have centered it." I couldn't help but laugh. I'm afraid she's going to end up with black and blue eyes too. Oh, the rewards of parenting!

At least Lisa still has a sense of humor. Ouch! I just cannot imagine how much that hurt! I pray that she gets the medical attention she needs.
Oh my word that had to hurt! I gasped when I read it was broken! OUCH! Let us know what the ENT says. WOW.
The pictures are all great...and I would never in a million years know that those tree ones were taken with a cell phone...that's awesome!
those trees are beautiful
Beautiful family photos! Oh, and the ones of the trees...wow! I miss seeing trees like that. When we lived in Nashville, I loved it. Poor Lisa! Bless her heart. George broke his nose 7 times, believe it or not. 6 because of basketball and 1 time by running into a glass door. So painful.
Hugs!

Andrew did the same thing to Kim and she needed surgery to fix it. I'm sure Kim would say to Lisa ~ I feel your pain!
Jean, the trees could not be more beautiful! Thanks for sharing those. And beautiful children, too.
Have a good weekend.
Bless Lisa's heart! I bet that scared Sophie, too, huh?!
The trees are STUNNING! The colors here in the south are not nearly that vibrant!
