The thing is, a Christmas cactus has to start somewhere. And I don't grow indoor flowers very well, either. I can almost hear them crying if I try to bring one home, "Help! Someone send assistance! This is cruel and unusual punishment!" But my Mom can grow anything! And she has nurtured them along for many years until they are these mammoth, gigantic things that make everybody jealous. If I took one home, I would have to name it "rattlesnake" or something so I wouldn't be sad when it died.
