First week of June

This will be a quick recap here.  Destiny and the kids are here for just a few days, and I am a bit occupied!!

Ahhhh, June!!  Sitting on the porch at 8:40 PM and it's still daylight and warm.  I just want to hang onto it and every moment and memory of it!! 

Last Friday and Saturday were our community's annual yard sale.  Dick put out a few odds and ends of tool, etc.   He made a little money and enjoyed talking with people that came by.

I walked around to see what people were getting rid of and to meet neighbors.

I found some clothes.  Two skirts, a pink top to go with the wild capris I got on eBay last summer, and a blazer. 

I also noticed on Facebook that a local used furniture place had a picture I liked.  I have loved the picture hanging in my dining room ever since Anthony and Lori bought it for me in 2005.  But it was getting so faded.  I don't like this one as well, and I'm not sure Dick got it placed correctly, but it was only around $30.

I put the other one in my messy office/music room.  I still love it. 

After church on Sunday Dick and I ate on the side porch for the first time of this season.  We do like hot dogs, lol!!

We got some new rose bushes at Home Depot, and they are not disappointing us!!
