I feel like I just posted here a couple days ago. I was so surpised to see that it's been a week - as usual. It just didn't seem that long this time.
There really wasn't much happening in the past week. No activities at the church, not even choir practice, since we're taking some time off over summer. I did my regular cooking for Anthony and Lori on Wednesday. On Thursday Lori and her mom and her sister and Hunter took a road trip to Amish country in Ohio for a few days. So I had Anthony and Austin here for grilled Italian sausage sandwiches on Friday, July 4th. The only pictures I took were my plate of food and the dessert I made.
It was a nice evening for eating on the side porch. Although Austin was much more interested in playing piano.
Here's a song he had played for me when I took food over to their place Wednesday. He had just learned this one, called "Atlas."
Later we went to see State College's fireworks. Wow, I really missed Destiny and Elizer. We had so much fun watching fireworks with them the past three years.
The big bang at the end!
I have spent a lot of time planning for my upcoming sister weekend in Charleston, SC. I pulled together a bunch of old pictures that I know we'll enjoy looking at together. Some will cause some great laughter! I've also been gradually planning what I'll wear and how to pack everything as compactly as possible. I'm flying down on Thursday and coming home next Tuesday.
Here's one funny memory of our sister gathering in 1994. Barb was not able to be there, but we each had an Idaho shirt from her, and we wanted to take this picture to send to her.
And the rest of my pictures are of my flowers - taken various days throughout the week. Enjoy!
That's it for this time! I'll have WAY too many things to write about next Tuesday when I get back!

That Austin is so talented! Not surprisingly, it's in the genes.
Beautiful firework photos - and flowers too.
Have so much fun with your sisters!
Have fun with your sisters!! Can't wait to hear all about it. Your 4th dinner sounds yummy! Austin is progressing nicely with his piano playing! It is in the genes after all! Thanks for catching us up!
