It's a sunny Sunday afternoon. But a week ago it looked like this! It started snowing just as our service at GBRV was over. The snow came down in huge flakes. It was SO beautiful!!
I relaxed, even napped a bit, on the love seat, and this was my view from there!
The snow stopped early evening and the roads were clear, so we went to Sam's Club and Walmart for a few things, and enjoyed the beauty of the snow on the trees.
We also took a drive around town to see some other things. One of our friends has a big pine tree that has become a neighborhood decorating project each year. We finally went to see it. We also saw the lighted tree at the arboretum from a distance.
We all know what took place on Wednesday, and I was here watching in horror, crying and praying. I have much to say and many strong opinions and deep concerns, but I'm pretty sure they do not align with many of you readers'. I value your friendships. The Lord knows the cries of my heart, and yours too.
On Thursday I took a long, luxurious bubble bath, complete with the jets, as I pondered and prayed. I never, ever cease to be thankful for the blessing of this wonderful little house.
On Friday when I drove over to Anthony and Lori's to deliver their food, there was a beautiful sunset. I quickly got this shot at a stop sign.
I Facetimed with Destiny several times this week. She and Alex will be moving into their own rented mobile home this week. They've been with Alex's mom and stepdad so far. They'll be living with the most bare essentials until they can move their belongings from Pennsylvania.
Elizer just LOVES Facetiming!
The way he looks right into the phone at me just cracks me up!
She sent me this video. If you love baby giggles, this is full of them!

Beautiful photos of winter and sunsets! I love the purple hair gel! Looks fabulous! That Elizer is SO precious and those baby giggles are just the best sound ever!! It is nice that Destiny and Alex have a place of their own now. Hope they can get the rest of their belongings soon. Have a blessed week, Jean! xo
Hello Jean. That snow looks beautiful coming down. We haven't got much snow here this year, and we badly need it for next summer's water supply! I was very upset by what happened at the Capitol as well - still reeling from it and am praying for accountability, healing and moving forward. Sounds like things are going well for you. Have a good week.
Yay, a new Keurig!
I miss the Christmas tree the most but it really did need to be put away. Haven't done much decorating since putting everything away which is so unusual for me. A full house may be the reason...I work best when alone and no chance of that right now ☺
Never tried hair colors but I'd definitely go for purple if I did! Been trying to get Ellen to try some and she says nope.
Have a good week. I'm still praying like crazy too. God help us!
Yay for the Keurig - ours is acting up too, so a new one will be coming at some time.
Elizer is cute as can be. I love his alert eyes and smile.
I'm also praying for our country. I have friends on both sides of things and find it so sad that there is such division. I also find great comfort in knowing that God is in control!
