In the telling of our fun weekend followed by the scary snow adventure in my last post, I missed mentioning Jeremy's 35th birthday, which was on Sunday. I treasure the memory of his birth at home, a truly beautiful night. This picture was taken a week later by Glenn Eshelman, founder of Sight and Sound, who had a photography studio at that time.
You may remember that I mentioned a few weeks ago that Jeremy has changed jobs. He is now working as Creative Director for Moso Graphics, based in Portland, OR. They do signage and wall art for furniture stores. He'll need to travel to Portand on a monthly basis, so last week he was out there, flew home Saturday, then spent the first few days of this week in High Point, NC. He's working on the campaign for Trisha Yearwood's newest endeavor, as told in this People Magazine article, developing the in-store signage for her collection. A tremendous opportunity! I'm so glad he no longer has to drive all over the Baltimore/DC area anymore as he did with his previous job, but I do miss the phone calls he so often made while on those long drives.
Winter continues in full force this week. It is -3 right now and windy! We had quite a squall last evening, and I was glad to be home. I took these photos out my windows.
But I'm cheered by the fact that each day is a bit longer! One evening I got home at 6:30 pm and there was still daylight on the horizon!
Have a good weekend!

It's freezing here too. Right now it's at -6 and is supposed to hit -12 tonight. Not long till Spring!!!
So excited for Jeremy!
It's so cold here. All the schools are in a 2 hour delay this morning. I didn't even look to see how cold it is. I'll be doing transportation to take Aidan and Zoe to school.....then pick up Zoe and take Ellen to work. I'll have plenty of oppurtunities to be out in it!
Have a great week end!
Happy Birthday and congratulations to Jeremy on his new job! He is really going places!
We are waiting for a snowstorm to hit this evening. The Pastor already called and cancelled the prayer breakfast for tomorrow morning. This will be the third Siberian Express coming through.
Stay safe and warm!
