I SHOULD be sleeping, as Dick already is. We are leaving early in the morning for an appointment at Geissinger in Danville at 8:00 am. It's a 1 1/2 hour drive, so we'll leave at 6:00.
Dick had a PET scan in November that showed the presence of lymphoma again in several places. His oncologist here is sending him to an oncologist in Danville for a second opinion. I have a feeling he will be discussing treatment options.
So I don't know what we might know tomorrow that we don't know now. But God already knows.
We'll be glad for prayers for the trip.

PS - I'm watching my recording of The Voice right now. I'm afraid Tessanne will win, but I'm not cheering her on. Sorry!
This made my heart give a sick, cold twist and my eyes prickle. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jean. The road you two travel with this Lymphoma business makes all the other stuff seem petty, doesn't it? I can only imagine what you must be feeling. I am just so sorry.

We had a good visit with the oncologist at Geisinger this morning. He took a lot of time to go over Dick's cancer history and the most recent tests. He does not advise rushing into any treatments at this time. There will be another scan done in February, and if the areas of concern have increased by then he will order more testing. We feel relieved and thankful!
Just read this....and I know it is already over. Your report sounds good...so glad you aren't facing something immediately. Praying for you!
Yes, it was Tessanne!! So happy about that. I was pulling for James and still think he was better than the guy who remained. But, that's just my thought on the matter =)

I am only now checking in but am glad that you got a second opinion. We pray that the scan in February will show no growth.
In regard to the Voice, I have only watched that one time and that was on YouTube for some reason.
My heart and prayers go with you. You have such a sweet spirit. I was so glad Tessanne won.Such a powerful voice.
