Transition time again

Well, of course, the big news today here in the eastern part of the US was the earthquake.  I think I was in the Giant supermarket at the time, so I was completely unaware of it.  Only after I got home and checked FB, which had post after post about an earthquake, did I realize it had occurred.  

First of all, a cute video I took while babysitting Austin on Sunday.  He has so much fun with this big blue bucket over his head!  Our little guy is growing up.  He had his Thomas the Train underwear on instead of pull-ups.  He would say he has to go pee in the potty, not pee on Thomas, hahahahaha!!

It's transition time for me once again.  Two years ago I left the music world (somewhat, anyway) and entered the nanny world.  And now I'm transitioning back again.  I haven't been saying anything about it here on my blog, but plans have been going on behind the scenes.  Austin just started in a new full-day daycare and preschool on the Penn State campus, and he's absolutely thriving there.  I'm taking on more piano students, and I will also be taking the position of praise and worship leader at Houserville House of Hope in September.  I have subbed at the piano for them from time to time over the past year.  Their contemporary service is at 10:30, so I will still be able to remain actively involved at Fillmore UM, whose service is at 8:15.  Anthony and I will also be working on a music project that has been on the back burner ever since I moved up here.  I'll still cook dinner for all of us twice a week or so and babysit Austin when needed.  So I WILL be busy, and I AM excited!!  I just might not have cute pictures of Austin to post all the time, but I'll steal some, haha!

Here's one I stole from Lisa this week - Sophie standing in front of her nicely made bed on her first day of school - first grade!  Lisa said that Sophie did not want them to go into the classroom with her - she wanted to go all by herself!  What a girl!
