Choir practice and stitches

This evening I went to the choir practice of the little church I visited a few times.  They're working on an old John W. Peterson cantata.  It was fun to be there and all the people were so nice to me.  The practice was held at the choir director's very lovely home.  She took me on a tour of it afterward.  I tried not to covet, hahaha!

I stayed till last because she and I seem to be the kind that could talk forever.  Imagine my surprise when I went out to the car and checked my phone and discovered I had missed several phone calls and messages from Dick and his boss.  He had banged his head on a lift at work, cutting his forehead, and had to be taken by ambulance to the ER.  I arrived there just as he was finished.  He now has twelve stitches on his forehead.  Boy, I'd better keep my phone in my pocket on vibrate after this.  You never know what could happen in two hours!

I'm glad you had a good time. Hope Dick heals quick and behaves a little better the next time you go out!

Oh how awful! Hope he feels ok today.

Just talked to Mary and heard you are staying there this week-end. Hope you can just relax and enjoy your time with her!

Yikes! Hope he's okay now and his wound heals quickly with no scarring.

Isn't it the true that our phones ALWAYS ring when we leave them somewhere and walk away?!

Hugs,
Kat
