What amazing weather we had today. I have been so looking forward to going for daily walks with Austin, which I have been able to do the past several days. But to my great dismay, it seems that plantar fasciitis has decided to revisit with a vengeance, this time on the opposite foot from two years ago. I've been wearing the night splint for the past several months because the heel pain would come and go. But yesterday and today it came and stayed. If it doesn't let up with all the things I know to do, I'm going to find me a foot doctor and ask for a cortizone shot.
Dick had today and tomorrow off work, so he's down at our Lititz house getting some more things done in preparation for selling it.
We're feeling happy about the direction our weight has been going lately, which is of course, down. Actually, Dick's weight has been going steadily down ever since he moved up here. I think he's lost about 25 pounds. In the last six weeks I lost ten pounds. Unfortunately, it's the same ten pounds I've lost several times before in the past ten years. But this was without any extraordinary exercising or food deprivation. Just an effort to be more healthy. I must say it really helps to have a household where we're all on the same page.

Congrats on the weight loss. I've been working on it too, but I tend to be a stress eater and I didn't do good with Heather in the hospital. I need to get back on the band wagon.
I feel your pain regarding the plantar fasciitis. Both Bob and I have trouble with it at times and it can be so miserable!
Jeanie, I'm sorry I didn't say anything on Sat. evening, I wondered if you had lost weight. Congratulations on that success. In addition to eating more healthy, I'm sure less stress and more sleep is also an asset to weight loss.
Congratulations on the weight loss! I agree with Mary Ellen in the fact that you are getting more sleep and have less stress which is a help. And I am so happy for you to be able to have more time to enjoy your family. I also had plantar fascitis several years ago and know that it is very painful. Hope it soon gets better.
Yes, congrats! I am a stress eater. I just can't seem to get on the band wagon to better health. I'll keep trying to be motivated my the success of my sibs =)
And I miss Dad soooooooo much too.
Doris
I know what you mean about missing A dad for sure. Someone just aked me the other day if I missed my Dad and of course I do. It was someone on my bus who asked me that.
I am sorry that the plantar fasciitis is back. I am sure that your whole body hurts with the pain so it would be hard to follow a toddler around.
But, but, but, CONGRATULATIONS on losing so much weight! That is awesome! Meals are going to be changing around here too. Doctor's orders. You will have to see my post later today.
