Scenes from around the house

Hmmm. Every scene is of Austin. Now isn't that funny?

Oh, Jean, he is a wonderful baby. And I'm so happy for you that you get this chance to be a "Hands On" grandma in a situation that is so rewarding. I think of all the grandmas who are "hands on" because of parents not doing what they should, and how they have responsibility 24/7 -- and then I think of you and how God has blessed you in this so special way. I believe it is because of your faithfulness through the years, yes, but even more, it is so exciting to me to think about what He has for you NOW. I know that you will not just take care of that baby in State College, that there will be people to love, things to do, and I am so excited for you.

You asked who "Nevie" was on my blog the other day -- He is Daniel's nephew's youngest son, Nevin. Christina has babysat for his older brother Carson, and then Nevin, ever since they were six weeks old, and their Mommy, an RN, went back to work two days a week in a doctor's office. Both boys are in school now -- Carson in first grade, and Nevie in two day a week preschool that is provided by Greenwood Mennonite School. I miss them intensely. They were my first "hands on" experience with "grandbabies" of sorts. I should have messaged you all this -- If I had known it was going to be so long, I would have, but it is here now, so I guess I'll just leave it.
Love you!!!

Jean, As I looked at these pics, I think how blessed this child's life will be. How fortunate he is to grow up with so many people who love him! And, with a Grandmother like you...well...he's got it made!
