Weeds and distractions

This morning the weather was just as perfect as could possibly be. I decided I didn't feel like staying indoors and was in the mood for some hard physical labor, so I attacked the weeds in one of Lori's flowerbeds.

A couple of hours later when I finished it, it was getting pretty hot and I definitely felt like I had done some hard physical labor! Later I told Anthony to look out over the deck to see what I had done. He looked and couldn't see anything. MEN!!!!

This evening I was trying to do some work on the computer, but there was this constant distraction right next to me on the bed. What an adorable distraction, almost always smiling.

When he got tired of sitting up, he discovered that Grandpa's belly made a nice, soft back rest!

I LOVE that first picture of you! It reminded me of the wooden art forms in Lancaster County Gardens but from a different view. =)
You REALLY DID DO A LOT OF WORK! You will have Lori's gardens shaped up in no time. She has been off having a baby and taking care of him.

With having you there all the time, Austin will become so attached to his grandma and grandpa. I wish that my children would have been able to be around their grandparents. I never was around my grandparents either and I think I missed out on a lot.

Lori has a pool doesn't she? Let's see some pictures of you floating on a floater! Summer is not over yet, you know! =)

Just so we're clear ... which one was the "adorable distraction on the bed next to you?!?!?" :)

Renee's comment made me chuckle!

You look adorable in your big hat. And Austin ALWAYS looks adorable.

Hugs!
