I love summer

Last week Lisa, George, and Sophie combined a vacation with a work-related meeting in Miami. These are two of my favorite pictures from the album that Lisa posted on Facebook.

Next week at this time we'll be thinking about packing. Dick and I are actually going to Florida TOGETHER. Can you believe it?? Jeremy will be graduating from college, and since we now know that Dick has a full-time job on the horizon, we decided to make this a real vacation, since Dick will probably not get one for a long time after he starts the job. We're going for six days! I'm so excited. Anthony, Lori, and Austin will be there most of that time too. What a time that will be.

I worked in my classroom all morning, then this afternoon did much-needed laundry and made cookies with Destiny. This evening we went to the gym and she swam in the pool while I worked out. I love summer.

Clear your head of anything but the 3 F's....you know FUN...FOOD...FAMILY ! Oh, and FINDING some treats while SHOPPING! Congratulations to Jeremy! I know that he is happy to finish all the work he has put into his degree and now he can go on with his future plans.

I wish I were going to Florida. Hey I heard that they have a cheap flight from Harrisburg to Orlando.
