I did it!

Earlier this week my friend Tonja tagged me for with this fun meme. The point is to make bold the things you have already done. Here's my list, but there's a part of me that wants to add my own stuff! No, I have not been to Paris, but I have been to Sweden, way up above the arctic circle. I have not been on a cruise, but I did traipse all over the island of Jamaica, singing in little country churches and rafting down a river. I never climbed to the top of the Statue of Liberty or stood in Times Square or attended a Broadway show, but I sang at the Bowery Mission numerous times and even went to the top of one of the Twin Towers (I can't even remember what we used to call it), getting a breath-taking view of the city in every direction. I never bungee jumped, but I did go on a zip line a few years ago!

I always love reading the list of other bloggers 'cause you can learn so much. I agree with Mari and Krista's questions - why were you in an ambulance and what movie were you in?

Hugs!
Kat

In answer to the questions about being in a movie and riding in an ambulance:

Hey, I didn't say it was a blockbuster movie, ha, ha!! Back in the late 60's I was in a movie that the Lancaster Mennonite Information Center made to show to tourists who came to this area.

Also, during the years we were foster parents our foster agency made movies to show to prospective foster parents and to churches who wanted to support them. We were in two of those.

I actually have had three ambulance rides. The first one was with Dick after he broke his leg at a church camp in 1975. The second was with my mom in 1982, taking her from the cancer hospital in Zion, IL to a local airport where we got an air ambulance which brought us back to Lancaster, PA. The third one I do not remember in 1995 after we were in a car accident.

Can I play too? This list made me realise that I have accomplished a lot in my life! Now I just need to do some more traveling!
