Lori gave Destiny a button-making machine for Christmas, so that kept her occupied while we carried on adult converstions.

Eventually the food was ready and GOOD! Oxtail soup, crab legs, chicken, and rice and beans.

Then it was time to bundle up in layer upon layer of warm clothes for our trip to downtown State College where the New Year's Eve festivities were taking place. The first place we entered was a park that was lit up almost like daylight. The smell of popcorn filled the air.



There was a pen with reindeer in it. Their rack of horns were HUGE. We hoped they would not start fighting each other!
