We ended the night by going to Perkins for pie and hot chocolate, (my camera batteries were dead) then coming home to watch the ball drop in NYC, followed by cell phone calls to the rest of the family.
We had a relaxing morning of just lazing around the house.
Eventually we went to the Waffle House for a very late breakfast. Our conversations this weekend were almost always about babies for some reason!! Three weeks till D-Day, but who knows? Could be any day now. How will I ever focus on school with that baby only two hours away?

Oh man, it's going to be tough! You will have to post photos all over your desk, on the walls, on the windows, in your purse, on your computer (screen savers! are free digital frames, ya know) and on the doors.
Trust me -- EVERYONE at school knows my grandbaby's face! hahaha....
3 hours away just like me! The minute I pull out of their driveway, I MISS HIM ALREADY... it's so hard to not live RIGHT NEXT DOOR! I told them to build us a loft over their garage so we can move in! hahaha.

P.S. Sharon went 5 weeks early -- and it was her first baby! (But she took a fall about 2 weeks before and I knew that adrenaline rush would bring the baby sooner than we had planned) But three weeks -- she is good to go! Can't wait to see the photos! HAVE EXTRA BATTERIES!!!
As you can see -- I am up late again! It's gonna hurt on Monday morning to get up at 6:00 again!!!

Those ice sculptures are amazing! I bet they last a while, too. While beautiful, I am afraid that is too much cold weather for me!
