The presence of the Lord was precious and powerful at our church again this morning. God is up to something, and I love it.
Destiny had spent last evening and overnight with her daddy, so after church we met him to pick her up again. This afternoon Destiny and I played her "girlie" version of Monopoly, with help from Ray, who was up for the weekend again. Wow, Destiny is a born wheeler/dealer! She was buying every property she landed on - just had to spend every penny she had! Ray and I were thinking the apple hasn't landed far from the tree, ha, ha, ha!!
Here's another picture for you, Thyda. Ray needed a cup of coffee before he left again, and this time he wanted to add hot chocolate mix to his coffee. I found just the perfect mix for him - it was called Hershey's Goodnight Kisses. Poor guy - these goodnight kisses will have to do until he gets some real ones from you!
This tree is what we see when we look out our sink window. Right now it is a glorious red. That's a mighty tall tree. When it gets windy around here, I look out the window to make sure that tree is staying upright!
And last of all - here's a picture of Dick's beverage for this evening. Tomorrow he will be having his first colonoscopy. Fun, fun, fun - not! We decided he might as well get that out of the way too while he's still not working and his insurance deductibles and co-pays have been 100% met.

speaking of trees, a number of years ago when we lived in Reinholds we had a bad storm and the next morn. i saw that the big tree on the side of our house had fallen. so thankful that it didn"t fall on our house. But a good neighbor helped us to clean it up to bad we didn"t ahve a fireplace or wood burning stove. Now I have some wood that I need chopped anybody have a Good chain saw?
What a cute picture of Ray - Thyda will love it!
Tell Dick my hubby had his first colonoscopy this summer and said it wasn't as bad as it sounds.
He had to drink that stuff?!?!
We don't do daylight savings time in Az! :-) Did you enjoy your extra hour of sleep?!
I miss fall in Pa. so much! Thank you for the beautiful picture of your backyard! :-)
Poor Dick. I hated that stuff....nasty! But the test itself is a breeze.
Cute photo of Ray.
Hugs!

You'll have to find that Dave Barry email about his colonoscopy. His description of the drink is priceless. I hope all goes well for Dick.
I forgot about that email, Rose!!! I'm sure I have it in my humor file. My favorite part was - imagine setting off a rocket, only you're the rocket, ha, ha, ha!!!
Beautiful tree, Jean! Hope Dick breezes through the colonoscopy today. I want to see that Dave Barry e-mail if you find it...he is so funny!
Mmmmmm...ginger lemon. My favorite! :o\
Hope the test goes well today. I remember my dad saying that the nurses told him not to be shy at the end. What a job! (I guess it's not that much different than being a momma though, huh?)
