It just keeps snowing

I think we had snow flurries almost all day long today. Early this evening, when Destiny and I were doing a few errands, the roads had become a bit slick again. And our temps are unbelievably cold - going down into the teens tonight. I can't remember of ever dealing with this much wintry weather before Thanksgiving. Maybe it's getting it out of its system early, and we'll have a mild winter. Wishful thinking!

Anthony and Lori went to a guitar show near Philly today, Dick and I just did our normal Saturday chores. Except for one thing - we cut up and cooked a big pumpin (yes, Miki, the one you bought when you were here!) I may have done that once before a long time ago. What a pain! But I should be able to make a lot of pumpkin pies and breads, etc. out of it.

Which reminds me - I was trying to remember on whose blog I had read about a delicious pumpin dessert that is supposedly better than pumpkin pie. If it was you who posted that, could you please let me know?

This evening after Anthony and Lori returned from their gadding about, they had some sweet couple time at my kitchen table, ha, ha, ha!
