I've been looking forward to this weekend for quite a while. First of all, I'll be going to a day retreat with our church ladies and girls tomorrow morning. It's going to be an awesome time of worship and LOTS of fun. Maybe next week I'll put the monologue on here that I'll be doing at the retreat. It's called A.A.A.D.D. or Why I Make a List.
The retreat is from 8 to 4 tomorrow, but Dick and Destiny will be picking me up at noon and we'll be heading out to Altoona to an outdoor concert where Anthony's band will be playing. The band will soon be disbanding and we really, really want to hear them one more time. Besides, tomorrow is a very special day - Anthony's birthday. I have SUCH wonderful memories of the day he was born. He's 8 days old on the picture below, and I could still just eat him up.
And here's what that same chubby baby boy will look like tomorrow. I'm so proud of him.
We'll be going to their house overnight tomorrow night and going to church with them Sunday morning, then celebrating his birthday with some of their friends in the afternoon. I gotta hit the sack!

Aloha Jean,
I found your blog through Cheryl as she directed us here to your blog. You have such a beautiful family, just like here in Hawaii our families are all from different cultures and we love it that way as well *smile*. I am also a worship leader and women's ministry coordinator. I read your profile and see that you are active in some of the same things as well in your church. What a blessing to meet new sisters in the Lord.I will continue reading and just wanted to say Hello..
Blessings and prayers for you and your family.
Jean, have a great day! Good luck with the talk...I look forward to reading it later!
