So yesterday was the long awaited day at Hershey Park, provided by Dick's employer. I have loved going to this park since the first time I went there on a 9th grade bus trip. That first ride on the Comet hooked me. I LOVED the thrill!
Until.....I gradually began to discover that I didn't like the feeling of having my brains knocked back and forth inside my skull, and I didn't enjoy looking like a drowned rat in public, and I wasn't sure my heart would keep beating if I did a 100 foot drop at 75 miles per hour, and my neck no longer recovered from a direct hit from behind.
So while I have gradually been enjoying less and less of the thrills, Destiny has been getting taller and braver. I went on a few rides that I still enjoy, but the majority of the day I held our stuff and watched people, LOTS and LOTS of people, TOO MANY people, and occasionally I caught a few ZZZZ's, while Dick and Destiny had all the fun. I was wishing I had brought a book to read.

that brings back memories when Terry and i took Heather to Hershey, what a fun day that was. But there will be no more trips or anything with him. He is no longer in my life. If you read my blog yetI mentioned about not being able to get into your blog one eve. But As you see I could get into it again. So don"t know what the problem was. But Iam thankful I can get back into it once again.
I love catching some zzz's while waiting for people I love. However, I try to find a wall to rest my head against, otherwise I am drooling onto my blouse or else my head does this terrible jerk kind of thing that feels like it could break it off -- I am quite sure that I would never sleep so elegantly as your picture depicts. Ah, well. We can't all be beautiful, I guess. (I keep hoping!) The expedition looks like alot of fun for Destiny. Hershey Park is a wonderful place to be (especially if Dick's company will pay the entrance fee!) Love you!
I am sure that Destiny had a great time. I don't think I could enjoy those rides any more. I would be there catching some zzzz's also.
you are so funny...there's never a dull moment with you, my friend!
