Our Pre-K class is a constant source of laughs this year. Today the Pre-K teacher was explaining to her little ones that they will be having a substitute teacher next week because she will be going to Seattle (a business trip with her hubby.) A little boy screwed up his face and asked, "Who is Attle?"
Now we're making no end of jokes about Attle. I told her to make sure she takes a picture of him. She said she thought Attle is probably a "she". What do you think? Did you ever See Attle?

Green of course, Tonja! This weather is so perfect right now that we haven't been needing to use any electricity for heating or for cooling the house. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay that way very long.
The birds sing so loudly and so early that they have woken me up the past two mornings before my alarm went off at 5:00 AM!! (We had our window open.)
What a pretty picture Jean. I know what you mean. As I was riding my bike today, I started singing out loud "Oh what a beautiful morning" and I meant it. It's been gorgeous.

I love your yard, and your new mulch really sets things off! What is planted around the birdbath? Is it hosta?
Yesterday morning I Cardinal and a Yellow Finch were on our birdbath in the entry garden. By the time I ran for the camera, they are gone!
The birds awaken me every morning too. It is a lovely time of year!
That is hosta, Cheryl, that we had dug up last year when we put the walk in. Actually the hosta is the outer circle. The inner circle is blue salvia, but it's still really small. I thought we had planted it the whole way around, but the one side doesn't seem to have any coming up. Guess I'll have to buy more.
