I had a really good time at the retreat today - great teaching, good food, LOTS of fun, and good worship, if I must say so myself, ha, ha!! Besides, it was wonderful to get the chance to spend a whole day with my sister Doris, a rare thing for us with our crazy schedules.
When I left the retreat at 6:30, it occurred to me that no one was at home. Dick works at Advance Auto Parts on Saturday evenings, and he had taken Destiny to her daddy's place for the evening. So I went to the mall in search of something to wear tomorrow morning that would look good with those turquoise tee shirts the kids will be wearing. I found a jacket and skirt that I think I like okay. Maybe I'll get a picture tomorrow.
Now we're all at home and I still have a little girl that needs a bath and her LONG hair needs to be washed. Dick said she slept till almost 11:00 this morning, so she's still going strong. Poor Grandma!!

We were there at the Mall as well this eve. I had my grandaughter Stacy today and will have her till tomorrow. I was at boscovs and sears and payless and downstairs with Stacy at the game room. So where were you, but I think we left at 7:30 so we may have just passed each other in the Mail lol.
So glad the retreat has been fun!
Hugs!

Glad you enjoyed the retreat! It is always nice to have a time away...even if it's a short time.
Love the outfit! You look so pretty. I think it blends beautifully with the kid's shirts.
Hope you have a great week ahead!
Oh, and I love the new blog header..so pretty!
It was a good retreat. We ladies were continuing to exclaim that very fact this morning at church and tonight at our home group meeting at our house. I thought our worship time was fantastic. You are certainly gifted in worship leading! Thanks for your willingness to take time out of your busy life to bless the women at my church. AND it was wonderful to spend so much time together!
Love ya! Doris F.
