In the mood for change

We are having snow here in PA - not the kind of snow you Michiganites have been having, but enough to close school early today. As usual the snow is going to be changing to sleet and freezing rain, and then to a lot of rain tomorrow, they tell us. We shall see.

I'm in the mood for changing furniture. I've done very little of that since we moved here 2 1/2 years ago. In fact, I'm in the mood for changing rooms around. I have quite a history of doing that. Both of the houses we owned previously were really big and I was constantly changing things around - dining room, family room, play room, living room - different every year, except for the kitchen and bathroom. We were always playing musical bedrooms too. Our first house had four, and Dick and I slept in three of them. Our next house had six bedrooms and Dick and I slept in four of them.

So I'm ready to have some fun. More later.

PS. I am adding this later - we found out this evening that the staph infection Scott has is MRSA, which has been all over the news this winter. Betty now has to be tested and cleared before going back to work, since she works with children. GOD!!! There's another mountain to be moved!!

good grief, sis, don't keep us in such suspense! As you know, I love to change rooms around too. Out of the 5 bedrooms in this house, Dale and I have claimed 4 of them at one time or another! Crazy, indeed.....

Sorry, I'm not sure it's going to happen any time soon. It looks like I'm going to have to get someone here from Blue Ridge to reroute our internet and TV cables. Changing rooms isn't as easy as it used to be, boo hoo.

I think it's fun and exciting to change things up. Keeps us on our toes. Brrrr...that snow looks cold. It's rainy and chilly here tonight and I heard our temps will be dropping even more.

How's Scott? I'm praying.

Hugs!
Kat

This is getting interesting. We will be waiting for the details after the cable guy comes.

I like to change things around too, but I've never changed bedrooms. Hope you don't get too much snow or ice!

I, too like to play 'musical furniture'. I can never understand how a person can decorate a room and leave it that way forever. I change and decorate with each season. Depending on the time of year, my furniture gets moved to get closer to the fireplace.

MRSA It is a dreadful thing. And has caused more heartache and pain than you can imagine. "Yes, God, we do need a miracle here!" Keep me posted. I am so sorry.
