This was another very long day. I had kept Destiny overnight so I first of all took her to her school in Lancaster before I went to my school. This afternoon we loaded grades 3, 4, and 5 onto a bus and went to sing for the 3rd grade teacher who is recovering from knee surgery. That was a lot of fun and quite touching, but of course I forgot my camera. I took a few pictures with my cell phone, but unfortunately they got blurry.
It had started to snow around noon, and as the afternoon progressed it was REALLY snowing. When I brushed my car off after school I did one half of it, then went to the other side to do the other half, and already the first half was almost covered with snow! I had my regular 6-week hair appointment after school. (Does anybody remember that 6 weeks ago it was snowing the day I had my hair appointment and I had Dick drive me there? We have had very little snow since then. What is up with that, ha, ha!) By the time my appointment was over the snow was turning to rain so I went to the gym before I came home. I didn't have any trouble driving on any roads until I got into our community, which is hilly, and had not had one thing done to the streets. They had better do something overnight or I'm going to be scared to drive down the hill to the main road. I always imagine starting to slide down the hill right into the traffic.
Now I must quit reading and writing blogs because I still have work to do on Sunday's music for the youth worship team at church. They'll be leading worship this Sunday, because - remember? I am GOING TO FLORIDA! Jeremy called today and said he worked until 11:30 last night redoing the set for the musical. He said, "My interior design eye just was not satisfied with the way it was." They must be so glad for him. He can design and build sets, then sing, act, and dance like nobody's business. I know - I'm his mom and I'm biased. But I am so excited to see him in action Saturday night.

For you snow must be a burden most of the time, but I miss it. I DO remember you mentioning about your last hair appt. though. Too funny.
I'm excited for you about your Florida trip.
Hugs!

Have a great time in Florida! Wish I could see Jeremy's performance. I know that he is the best!
I can't imagine living with snow all the time. It is beautiful, but a mess..so I hear!
Hope your trip is all perfect. From the flight to the performance to the visiting. Be safe and have fun!
Blessings

It has gotten very cold here and the snow is starting again. We live near Lake Michigan so we often have to deal with lake effect snow when the temps change. The prediction is for lots of snow.
Have fun in Florida and seeing Jeremy perform. I know he'll be great!
