The ramp

The ramp from our deck to the new walk is slowly, but surely becoming reality. A few weeks ago Dick dug ten holes for posts.

Last Saturday Dick and Sam cemented posts into the holes and started the framework.

Today they built the frame...

...and started screwing down the boards. Next week they should be able to finish it and put up a temporary handrail.

You can see the difference in temperature from last Saturday to this Saturday by the clothes they're wearing! Destiny had fun using scrap pieces of wood to build crosses today. She was putting them in my flower beds. Sam said it's starting to look like a pet cemetary around here!
