Our Thanksgiving Day

We had some of our boys here in shifts today! Earlier I posted the pictures from our meal with Ray and Thyda and Sam. Later this evening Frank was here with J'von. Sam sat down with Frank and had his second meal!

These two guys both joined our family in August 1994, each of them from Reading, PA, even having lived as roommates at one point in a youth residential facility. We were joking when I took this picture. I said, "Here, let me take a picture of my two handsome Reading boys." Frank said, "What, we weren't born in Manheim?"

To Destiny's disappointment, J'von was sleeping when he arrived.

She tried patiently for a long time to wake him up. She kissed his cheek, tried to show him her favorite stuffed animals, read him a book.

When he was about half awake she showed him her play cell phone. That got his attention. He's Frank's son alright!
