Of course, the most excitement was finally having Ray and Thyda home! The drive from Norfolk took longer than they expected, but they finally arrived sometime around 4:30 or 5:00. Ray was his CRAZY self, as usual. Thyda said she's going to have to get used to him again!
Thyda wanted to get a picture of Ray and me together. First he cuddled up to me and made me laugh, then he sat bolt upright, military fashion. I gave him my sternest look (and it IS a stern look - just ask my students!). Ray saw me out of the corner of his eye and said, "Don't look at me like that." Did it remind him of the times it was necessary for me to give him that look??!!
