More about the anniversary dinner

A highlight of the 25th anniverary dinner yesterday was when Dick's family sang together. Our absolute favorite is the hymn Great God of Wonders, which has an awesome rolling bass line. Just like my family, the Stauffers used to give programs in churches. The four part harmony is hard to beat.

They will be of particular interest to our family who weren't there, but who will know most of the people on the pictures.

I have been living with a most unwelcome, intense headache yesterday and today. Tylenol and ibuprofen do not seem to make any difference. I am praying it will be gone by tomorrow, because I have a very special evening planned with my sisters. Barb is flying from Idaho right now. Tomorrow evening she, Mary Ellen, Doris, and I will eat out together and then spend the night here. It would be better yet if Rose from Atlanta and Betty from New Hampshire could be here. Tomorrow it will be 3 years since we received the shocking news that our sister Janet died while she was sleeping. The phone call from my dad that Saturday morning is one that will never be forgotten.
