My short, but sweet trip to Tampa

As I wrote on Thursday night, I left home at 4:00 AM that morning for the Baltimore Airport. I arrived in Tampa around 10:30 where Jeremy met and picked me up. Unfortunately, my camera was in my suitcase and we didn't think to dig it out, so I didn't get any pictures of the lovely old Italian restaurant where we ate lunch in Ybor City or of all the other old and beautiful buildings we saw as we walked around and talked. We also had fun at the mall for an hour or so before we went to Lisa's. Once there, I played with Sophie and talked with Lisa and George until I just couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. Goodnight, Sophie!

Short, spur-of-the-moment trips can be such fun. Looks like you had a great time. Great pictures. Sophie is just adorable. Love the zoo pictures - I'm going to Atlanta's zoo today to see the pandas.

I loved all your pictures!!! Sophie is so precious and I have to say that I LOVE all the colors in their house! How fun and vibrant---I'm sure just like all their personalities!

I'm so glad you were able to get away for a few days! Glad you're home safely!

I love all the pictures..just what you're supposed to do in the blogging world! It looks like you had a fabulous time and I am thrilled that you had the chance to go for a few days. Sophie just could not be any more precious! Hopefully those visits will be something you will be able to do several times a year so that the distance won't seem so much. I'm glad you got back home safe and sound!
