Celebrating Dick's birthday
Ah, YES!! It hit 70 degrees today, and promises to climb even further the next two days! Just glorious.
This week each of us teachers was given a copy of the Entertainment coupon book, because we are planning to sell them next year as a fund raiser. How timely - just when Dick and I were planning an evening out to celebrate his birthday. We decided to try out Arthur's at the Eden Resort. The resort was bursting at the seams with business, every room filled as well as every banquet room and parking space. But Arthur's was not the popular spot this evening, and we practically had the place and staff to ourselves. We were treated like royalty. It's a lovely little place and we had a really nice time. Afterward we lounged around in the beautiful lobby of the resort for a while, acting like we're rich people on vacation. Then we said, "Okay, our little vacation is over," and we left, picked up Destiny from Frank and Abby's, and came home. But guess what, I'll bet our bed is a whole lot more comfortable than Eden Resort's beds!

Sounds like you had a great evening and it does look like a nice place...PLUS...having something from that Entertainer book...that never hurts. They've got good stuff in those things! The picture of you both is great, and how nice that you had the place almost all to yourself...Sounds like you might be going back there sometime!
Isn't it true...our own bed is the best! Like Dorothy said "There's no place like home!"
