Staff Party

Last evening Dick and I went to my staff party. We no longer have it at Christmas because every one's schedules are too full at that time. We went to a place called the Spring House, which was a small house behind a big farmhouse near Mount Joy. It was cozy and quaint. We ate a potluck meal and then played some hilarious games. The last game involved some strategy and took a long time. Before we knew it, it was quite late, and we had to turn our clocks AHEAD an hour! Dick and I had to drive to Lancaster afterward to pick up Destiny from Frank's, so it was almost midnight (with the time change) till we got home.

I posted the pictures I took below. Again, they will not be interesting to most of my readers, but I'm posting them for you staff who will look here to see them! I took most of the pictures while people were eating, which is not the most attractive pose for most people!! Sorry!! (The pictures become bigger and clearer if you click on them.)

If you are one of my sisters and you haven't yet read my Saturday story, please scroll down to it. Barb and Doris, I would not want you to miss the adorable picture I posted of you! (Especially your tough girl pose, Doris!!)

Believe me, I did see the photo ~ what's with that face! Did I not want to show my dimples, was I upset at the picture taking ordeal, did I have something in my mouth that I didn't want to reveal?!! I certainly remember that Christmas program. Barb and I needed to go back to the area by the side of the stage to sit with our snickering classmates who had just witnessed our performance. I thought I'd die. Oh well, with each humbling experience a life lesson is learned. And, of course, a great story is recalled for future generations. Laughter is a good thing! Eagerly awaiting the next story, Doris
