Blustery
WGAL's website says the current temperature is 8 degrees and that today is to be cold and blustery. Makes me just want to dive back under the covers. It also makes that nearly 60 degrees at the end of the seven-day forecast look like HEAVEN!! If we have temperatures that warm and evenings that stay light longer due to the switch to daylight savings this weekend, my dad is going to be wishing he could plant some peas!!

My spring flowers (dew drops) were blooming before this snow. Now they are covered over. I wonder what our flowers will look like this spring as a result of being frozen mid-bloom.
How is your husband this morning, Jeanie-girl? When my Sweet Mama was on Chemo, she developed the same thing, and it was not only extremely painful, but it was a MESS to get rid of! I keep thinking that they probably have developed some new things in the last two years (I can't believe it has been that long!!!) but I can honestly say I am thankful that so far I haven't had to find out for her. Enjoy the day -- I am pretty much housebound today, too. Audrey is sick (Linda is back to center, though, so that is good!) and Middle Daughter has the day off from her school for a research day (I don't know how much research she is doing--) and Youngest Son is home for Spring break. (But he is at the Church of the Inner Spring -- St. Mattress Cathedral-- this morning.) I told Certain Man that it has been so long since I have had time to myself that I am feeling desperate! But this, too, shall pass, (and I could probably do something about organizing my time better and that would help me, too.) And yes, those 60º days sound wonderful to me, too! I want to plant flowers!
Mary Ann, your St. Mattress Cathedral reminds me of what Mark Lowry used to say. He named his bed "The Word". So if people called and asked if they woke him up, he could answer, "No, I was just spending some time in The Word." Ha, ha! He is so funny.
Okay, I'm feeling a little bit guilty here in California with 80 plus temps.
That makes me shiverrrrr!!! I don't know how ya'll do it. I'm cold if it's 70 degrees outside! I want it to be in the high 90's!
In answer to your question, no, my brother has not lived in extreme cold weather! They did have snow in Oklahoma, but nothing like what you guys get!
