Pre-school and high school programs

Today I rearranged my teaching schedule in order to be able to attend Destiny's Thanksgiving program and meal at Manheim Brethren in Christ Preschool. We got home earlier than usual after school and had some much-needed down time after yesterday's full day. This evening Dick played basketball at the rec center, as usual, and Destiny and I went to Manheim Central's fall play. There were five of my former students in the play - Brandon Kreider, Matt Garber, Lauren Hammer, Amanda Nissley, and Jalisa Weigand. I miss them all. I wish I didn't have to give kids up just when they're really getting good. Such is the lot of a middle school music teacher.
