Just a normal day

I was too tired to write anything last night - besides it was just a normal day of school, going to the Lititz Community Center afterward to work out, home to make supper, do the weekly laundry, then Destiny's bedtime routine.

Destiny does live with us full time now. Whenever our son Frank (her dad) or her mother call to ask for her, she's always delighted. But they each have job schedules that make it very hard to provide stable care for her.

She is two weeks too young for kindergarten, so I have her enrolled in our preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at Manheim Brethren in Christ Preschool on Wednesdays and Fridays. On Mondays she goes to Karrye, the young mother from our church who has kept her for me for over two years now. Lititz Community Center has an excellent play room, where she just loves to play while I work out.

So this isn't exactly what I expected to be doing in our 50's, but maybe she's keeping us young! She is both very delightful and very challenging. I often say that I believe that all the many children we raised over the years were for the purpose of gaining the wisdom we would need for raising Destiny!
