It's raining!!!

The first two weeks after we moved here we had several really hard rain storms. Since then we have had almost no rain - not even thunderstorms. It's been really, really dry. And now it's finally raining, all day long, usually quite steady, sometimes really heavy.

I've had two lazy days of no school. Last evening we went to the Manheim Farmshow for supper and then spent time looking at the animals and the displays. We saw lots of people we never see anywhere else, including my good friend Pat Johnson from my Moms in Touch days.

This evening we went to see the new Nicole and Jonothon's new baby. He weighed 9 1/2 pounds at birth, and now he's a lazy little guy that just wants to sleep all the time and not nurse. The nurses are trying to tell Nicole that it's pretty common and not something to worry about. His name is Ethan Cole.
